Shipping is calculated with insurance.  Each piece of artwork comes directly from the artist, so you know that your purchase will be carefully packaged to insure a safe delivery.  If the purchase is local to the artist, he or she may prefer to hand deliver the artwork...especially if it is unusually large or heavy.  If this is the case the artist will be contacting you personally for further instructions.
